Event Description: Encompassing approximately 30% of Portugal’s landmass, the Alentejo is divided into the three administrative districts – Beja, Évora and Portalegre – that collectively define the natural boundaries of Vinho Regional Alentejano. With over 3,000 sunshine hours annually, Alentejo’s eight subregions are spread across a distinctive and relatively flat terrain. Wines of Alentejo is pleased to be representing this unique wine region combining historical significance and modern thinking.

This master class, hosted by Evan Goldstein MS, will provide an overview of the beautiful Alentejo region, exploring subzones, leading varietals, and wines from classic producers.
